Omaha Eight or Better Rules Version:

The rule in Omaha Eight or Better is that the highest five card combination wins, except that the Ace is a five digit number, and only if five cards of the same suit or in the same order are mixed in any way.

The highest five digit combination is determined by the face down cards or Barbaric Stud Eight or Better, starting with the Ace as the one card. The option to bet has to be taken care of first. If the player has the option to bet or not to bet, the player must declare before the dealer what he or she wants to do.

Once the dealer is ready to deal the cards, they deal three cards face up on the table and the player immediate acknowledges them. The key in this version is to not allow the dealer to read your cards. Once the cards are dealt, the dealer will then turn over three more cards, namely, one up card and two down cards.

The player can only use the two direct holdings in their hands, and it is mandatory to use at least two of the cards in your hand. You can’t use more or even one of the cards in your hand.
