God created us for the specific purpose of worshiping Him, making worship our main function as believers.  It’s what brings our hearts and minds out of the distraction of everyday living and into God’s presence, and is, therefore, an incredibly important part of the “church experience”. When we come together on Sunday mornings, our efforts in worship should be, first, authentic.  We should come with our whole hearts and our “real” selves.  Secondly, our efforts should be toward excellence.  They will never be perfect, but should be the very best we have to offer.  God is worth it!

 

The Worship Team plays a key part in enabling individuals to worship God. The participants of this ministry must be focused on worship and not performance.

 

The Worship Ministry requires the talents of many individuals.  Instrumentalists and vocalists may be the most noticeable, but technicians who mix sound, run our computer programs, control lighting, and people who set-up/Tear down stage configurations work together as a team to create an atmosphere where God’s people can’t help but worship Him!
